How We Naturally Treated Roundworm In Our Dog

How We Naturally Treated Roundworm In Our Dog

The handsome boy in the picture above is Marty. He's a 2 year old Miniature American (Aussie) Shepherd.

He has, or should I say HAD roundworm!

Why am I telling you this? Because I wanted to share our experience of moving from chemical vet worming products, to natural worming products for dogs.

You may have seen that we started selling Verm-X Original Crunchies a few weeks back. It makes sense that we offer these along side Worm Count Kits because so many of you tell us you no longer use chemical wormers, and opt for a more natural approach.

We have heard great things about Verm-X, but we couldn't just take other peoples word for it and sell their products without using them ourselves to make sure they work.

We (personally) had already decided to stop chemical wormers when he reached 2 years old. We weren't going to give him anything other than regular tests and a vet treatment as and when needed. But for the purposes putting our money where our mouth is and having confidence in what we offer to you, we decided to try Verm-X.

Before starting, we tested Marty 3 weeks after his last chemical treatment and hey presto, he had "Moderate Roundworm Count". It goes to show that just because it came from a vet it doesn't mean its 100% guaranteed to protect from worms.

See the results below.
So we treated him with a combination of Verm-X Original Liquid (which we added to the website today!) and Verm-X Original Crunchies. We waited 21 days and took fresh poo samples to test.

Take a look at the results we received just this week below.
We are obviously delighted with the results, and can personally recommend Verm-X products.

We will share in another blog post exactly what we gave Marty and in what quantities, along with some tips that the lovely team at Verm-X passed on to us before we treated our handsome wee fella.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch.
